After Christmas Before the New Year

I have been told by my sisters that I need to update my blog so here it goes. I am now basking in the after glow of the Christmas holiday we all had a good day and we enjoyed the time together. My wife and daughter enjoyed their gifts from me except for one thing they wanted to trade their new coats because each liked the others color so it all worked out in the end and they are even happier. We had our big ham dinner on Christmas Eve and waited for a snow storm to happen which didn't until 24 hours later. We eventually recieved an 1 1/2" of snow.

Christmas afternoon was good I spent it talking to all my kids and my sisters and parents. They all reported having a great Christmas. I am preparing now to take a little trip to visit my Parents in St.George. We will probably leave Sunday morning and make our way there. I am lucky enough to have all next week off.

Today I have been busy putting together a shelf for our DVD collection. I have placed it in front of a window that seemed to be letting in cold air and it now feels much better in that spot so it is serving two purposes. We watched the new movie of Wall-e on Christmas day. It was a pretty good movie. Linda gives it 5 stars.

We are now in the process of saying goodye to the old year. One way was to go the day after Christmas and shop for some Christmas supplies on sale for next year. Jolly good fun it was.
I hope everyone had a good Holiday and will all have a Happy New Year.

  1. Chistmas sounds like it went good for you guys, It's a good thing that Linda and Loralee can trade coats, it saves time, with not having to go to the store to exchange them. Have fun visiting dad, if you need to stay and have a place to sleep, our house is available. We hope you have a super New Year,We love ya!
